Eerie Von (Samhain, Danzig) Book Signing and Show

Eerie Von (Danzig, Samhain) will be at Generation Records in support of his new photography book Misery Obscura: The Photography of Eerie Von (1981-2009).

According to the Generation Records site, “Misery Obscura gives fans unique insight into the punk and metal scene of the 1980’s and early 90’s from the perspective one of its greatest stars, chronicling the rise of The Misfits, Rosemary’s Baby, Danzig, and Samhain through the worldwide success of the punk and metal scene as they tour with acts like Metallica and White Zombie.”

Eerie Von will perform with Lyle Preslar (Minor Threat) and Mike D’Antonio (Killswitch Engage) during the in-store appearance at the store, and sign copies of Misery Obscura along with designer Tom Bejgrowicz.

Record Fair in Brooklyn

Hey folks,

Vegan Treats, Where Are You?

It seems like every time I have a friend in town, we end up discussing our favorite Vegan Treats cakes (or cheesecakes, or brownies) or we end up discussing all of the places in the city that sell them, which equates to me being extremely lucky to live in such a city.

Well, if you’re not fortunate enough to have had one of these conversations with me, or if you just forgot all the places I mentioned, you’re going to love this map!

I like to share coupons, as you might have noticed, but normally it’s for free coffee or granola bars.
This one I held off on, and I apologize, because I used it this past weekend and Jamba Juice’s oatmeal was pretty great. And it’s $1.
