Last year Matthew and I decided to make a zine, because it seems like no one does them anymore. Between work, teaching and everything else, both of us slacked off and didn’t do it.
In October, I mentioned that we should do a blog instead and make it an online zine, but it was right before the CMJ Marathon, and we were both so swamped with work before that, we slacked off again.
This morning I saw a post on the b9board about the lack of people going to hardcore shows in NYC, and people responded saying no one knows about them.
So here you go. This isn’t the most polished blog or online zine. We both work multiple jobs and will try to update this as much as possible. We’ll have interviews with bands, reviews of new records, upcoming show announcements and other random NYC news. Hopefully people in and out of NYC will check it out.
We’d love suggestions and comments, so send them over!
